Participants and Response Rates

For the 2022 NSSE, 5,778 first-year and 4,970 senior-year students were invited to participate. Response rates were 33% for first-year students and 28% for senior-year students. That compares with average response rates of 20% and 18%, respectively, for institutions within the UA Benchmark 12 & SEC Schools.
