For the 2016 NSSE, 4,710 first-year and 4,606 senior-year students were invited to participate.
Response rates were 39% for first-year students and 38% for senior-year students. That compares with average response rates of 17% and 20%, respectively, for institutions within the UA Benchmark 12 & SEC Schools.
